Ah, finally made it to get the PEIBurgerLove winning masterpiece.  I can't believe it took me this long but I am very happy that this will be on Papa Joe's menu for the next full year because it won't be the last time I get it.  This was very deserving of the BurgerLove crown.  The unique blend of spices, garlic sauce and feta make you savor every bite.  More please!  I just can't say enough about this, just go try it for yourself. It probably deserves a 10 out of 10 but I gave it a 9.5, if there's a burger out there that gets a 10 it will need to be something very special indeed to beat this one.

Oh My!  A new gourmet burger spot, just what I needed. :)  I first heard about this on twitter and as the pics started rolling in I knew I had to check it out for myself.  Burgers with all kinds of delicious sounding ingredients and poutine with duck gravy,  I just have to try some of this.  At first glance my burger looked quite inferior to the "Howie burger" and "PEI burger" that were being eaten by my burger loving cohorts, however I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't stacked with pulled duck or mashed potatoes but the spices, sauce and goat cheese worked great together. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was soft and fresh, I guess that's what you can expect with local ingredients.  I ranked it a 9 out of 10 so I could leave a little room at the top. I'm totally expecting one of the other burgers on this menu to get the perfect score.
Oh yeah, I can't forget the fries. Hand cut PEI potatoes, thick cut and delicious. We didn't go away hungry.

Comments:

So after all the delicious PEIBurgerLove in April I hit rock bottom and got a Big Mac. The blog had to start up again somewhere I guess. Does anyone remember being a kid and bugging your parents that you were old enough to have a Big Mac. I do, and I realize my hands and mouth are much bigger now but this generation's Big Mac should be renamed the Mini Mac. There's nothing left to this burger that was once considered the king of burgers. So to top off the disappointment, I'm sick and have no taste buds, it didn't much matter because I'm pretty sure both burger and fries were tasteless.
