St James Gate is becoming one of my favorite burger spots. They have 3 different burgers on the menu and definitely will get around to reviewing the other 2 at some point. The Smokey BBQ burger was very good. Delicious BBQ sauce and a generous sized burger. I loved the Swiss cheese and caramelized onions, I'm not a fan of mushroom, but if you are you would likely enjoy this burger even more than I did. Caesar salad is a little small but fries are always good. Service and atmosphere are also great here and we were informed that Tuesday is always burger day. Great to know!

Other Comments:
A very good burger. 1 large patty cooked perfectly with fresh toppings and a large sesame seed bun.
I'm only giving it 6 1/2 as it lacked the wow factor. No spices added to the burger gives me a feeling that I can make one just as good at home by throwing a patty on the grill. The price is also a little out of control. Plan to pay $18.00 with tip. However one thing about the Gahan House is the combination of spices on their fries make them some of the best fries in Charlottetown so in that case the price may be worth it.
